30 seconds.
5 frequencies.
Your entire body, explained.
Unveil Lens uses the same multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance technology found in clinical sports labs — now available at home, in under a minute, every day.

Every scale you've ever owned
used a single electrical frequency.
Standard smart scales — including expensive ones — use Single-Frequency Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (SF-BIA). They send one electrical signal at 50kHz through your body and measure how much resistance it encounters.
The problem is fundamental and physical. A 50kHz signal can only travel through the fluid outside your cells — the extracellular water. It cannot penetrate the cell membrane. It cannot reach fat tissue. It cannot distinguish muscle from water from fat.
What your scale calls "body fat %" is a mathematical estimate built on a single water reading. It is not a measurement of fat. It has never been a measurement of fat.
- ✗ Signal travels through extracellular water only
- ✗ Cannot cross the cell membrane to reach fat
- ✗ Muscle, fat and water all read as the same resistance
- ✗ Drinking water raises your "body fat" reading
- ✗ Gaining muscle registers as a weight gain — no distinction
Multi-frequency BIA:
five signals, five layers of truth.
Unveil Lens simultaneously sends 5 electrical frequencies through your body — ranging from 5kHz to 500kHz. Each frequency behaves differently inside biological tissue. Together they create a complete picture of every tissue layer.
Low frequency travels through extracellular fluid — establishes your baseline hydration level and identifies water retention.
Standard frequency — measures total body water and begins to distinguish intracellular from extracellular fluid.
Begins to cross cell membranes — identifies fat mass volume by measuring the resistance of adipose tissue directly.
High frequency penetrates deep into muscle fibres — separates lean mass from fat mass and measures muscle volume per segment.
Highest frequency penetrates all soft tissue and reaches bone — allows estimation of bone mineral density and skeletal mass.
By analysing how each frequency behaves as it passes through tissue — the speed, resistance and phase angle — Lens builds a complete model of your body composition that no single frequency could ever produce.
8 electrodes.
7 body segments measured independently.
Most scales send current through a single path — foot to foot. Lens uses 8 precision electrodes across both foot pads and both hand grips, creating multiple current pathways that allow each body segment to be measured independently.
Each pathway isolates a different region. The data from all paths is processed simultaneously to produce seven independent body composition readings:
This is why Lens can tell you that your right arm gained muscle while your left leg lost fat — data that a single-path scale is physically incapable of producing.
Three steps.
Your entire body, explained.
Bare feet on the electrodes, hands gripping the handles. The circuit is complete. All 8 electrodes are in contact with your body.
The 5 frequencies begin transmitting simultaneously through every pathway.
The onboard processor analyses the impedance data from all 5 frequencies across all 7 segments and runs it through our validated algorithm.
Phase angle, resistance and reactance data are processed in real time via Bluetooth.
Fat mass, muscle mass, visceral fat, bone density, hydration, metabolic age — broken down by body segment, tracked over time, explained in plain language.
Every reading is stored and compared to your history so trends emerge week by week.
Tested against a $25,000
clinical DEXA scanner.
DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) is the gold standard for body composition measurement, used in hospitals, sports science labs and elite athletic programmes. A single scan costs $150–$300 and requires a medical appointment.
Unveil Lens was tested by an independent third-party laboratory against DEXA scanners across a statistically significant sample. Results confirmed accuracy within ±2% across all body composition metrics — the same margin of error as the clinical device itself.
Now you know exactly how it works.
